BFL (Blue-faced Leicester) Wool combed top. Often called roving.
Dyed by me in the Opal colourway featuring rainbow colours on a natural background. Once spun it looks like iridescent Opal. Take a look at the spun and knit sample photos (samples made with Merino roving).
I used professional acid dye and the colour has been set. It will not fade in sunlight. It may give off a small amount of colour during the first wash. Handwash only using lukewarm water and mild wool wash with minimal agitation. Lay flat to dry.
Approximately 4 ounces (or more).
This wool can be spun, felted, woven, etc.
